"Dude" is pretty much a gender-neutral word nowadays. It really has nothing to do with feminism. Men and women use it to refer to both men and women.

I feel like women like her only serve to take away from the actual legitimacy of feminist issues like rape culture and general pervasive sexism. She's part of the reason SJW Tumblr gets such a bad rap.

(The percentage of MMO players who are female is also closer to 40% not 51%, and that figure was taken from a BBC study on players of Everquest II.)

I also agree with Sylv. All of the effort and suffering women have made over the years to obtain equality by idiots that freak out over using a fairly gender neutral word in the case where you don't know (or care) about their gender. I'm sure the women that struggled for the right to vote, or are trying to reach equal pay for equal work really appreciate some over sensitive moron is defending their "rights" in a fucking general channel conversation in an online game, especially when the gender isn't even part of the conversation. It just makes people turn off from the whole debate when it IS something important. Lily Ledbetter should punch this person right square in the mouth.
