Weird Graphical Bug

Getting a weird graphical bug the past few days... seems to be triggered by Druid Tier pieces in particular...

My Vid card is running plenty cool... I have an ATI Radeon HD 4850. I'm thinking maybe something to do with a texture cache or a driver, maybe?

Something to do with corrupted texture memory, that's for sure. Might be a corrupted texture file itself, but no idea if the repair utility would catch it.

That's definitely texture corruption, in my experience usually related to some sort of hardware failure. When you say the card is running cool are you checking both the GPU temperature and the memory temp? A lot of times it's not the GPU that fails, it's the VRAM, and it can lead to a lot of strange texture issues.

I'd go ahead and check the texture files first; run repair utilities, ditch your cache folder and reinstall drivers, but if the software solutions don't seem to address the problem then you might look to the card itself as a source of potential trouble.

Apparently on Shadez's screen I frequently appear to be wearing a blood elf mask or have blood elf flesh tones.
